Carpenter’s Corner Alpine opens to the public today at 2512 S. Alpine Road in Rockford.
The thrift store has 30,000 pieces of merchandise on its retail floor ranging from clothing and jewelry to furniture.
All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Carpenter’s Place in its mission to help people rebuild their lives after homelessness.
