Comedian Bio’s for the Night:
Host Keaton Ford is a Chicago-based comedian and producer with an irreverent take on everyday life. He’s performed at a wide range of venues across the country, from top-tier comedy clubs to low-tier dive bars, proving that no venue is too good – or too questionable – for him. Whether discussing the absurdities of his own experiences or offering fresh insights into everyday situations, Keaton delivers a unique and entertaining perspective on stage. In Chicago, he regularly performs at Zanies, Second City, and The Lincoln Lodge and hosts a monthly show at The Inner Town Pub.
Guest Feature Nik Oldershaw is a Chicago based comic and podcaster. Originally from Maryland, he’s performed on stages all across the country and has appeared on Funny or Die, The Hard Times and Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast.
Main Feature Izzy Salhani is a standup comic who packs a small punch. Their dry wit and quick punchlines explore the American psyche. In the ten years they’ve been doing standup their joke writing, improv, and sketch skills have gotten better but their pool skills have not. Izzy blames the pool sticks, they’re too tall.
Headliner Adam Burke, originally from Ireland (by way of Australia and England—long story), has been performing comedy in Chicago and throughout the U.S. for 17 years. A fixture at clubs across the Midwest and beyond, he is a regular panelist (with over 50 appearances) on NPR’s popular comedy quiz show Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!. Burke was a writer for WGN’s Man of the People with Pat Tomasulo and is the creator and host of The 5 O’Clock Somewhere News on IGTV, as well as the live mixology/comedy show Shaking with Laughter. He has also written for The Paper Machete, The Onion, and Second City. Voted Best Standup by readers of The Chicago Reader in 2014, Burke was also the winner of Second City’s Up Next Comedy Competition. He has performed at numerous festivals, including the High Plains Comedy Festival (Denver, CO), Bridgetown Comedy Festival (Portland, OR), Just for Laughs (Chicago, IL—four years running), and the local stage of Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy Festival. Burke released his debut album, Universal Squirrel Theory, on A Special Thing Records in 2012 and is set to release his second album in 2025.
