Kids Fishing Day

What: Muskies, Inc. – Flatlanders Chapter will host a free fishing day for kids ages 3-16. The first 75 children to arrive will receive a free Zebco fishing pole. A limited number of poles will also be available to borrow and all bait will be provided for free. There will also be a grilled hotdog lunch and s’mores provided by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office, animal demonstrations from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, free T-shirts and a raffle drawing.
When: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14
Where: Four Lakes Forest Preserve, 10207 Fish Hatchery Road, Pecatonica
