ROCKFORD — Need a backpack to help send your student back to school?

Gray’s Foods, 1630 N. Alpine Road, is giving away 50 backpacks on Wednesday to help local students return to class.

The giveaway goes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the grocery store in the Highcrest Centre.

There is no registration needed. Backpacks will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.
