BELVIDERE — Buffalo Wild Wings Go, a streamlined version of the larger B-Dubs restaurant, will open its first area location on Friday.
It will open at 11 a.m. Friday at 1940 Gateway Center Drive, which is just west of Walmart.
BWW Go, a concept that launched in 2020, is a smaller version of the traditional sports bar and is focused on efficiency for takeout and delivery with digital ordering options. There are also in-restaurant seating options. This is the first Go model in the area. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at 6275 E. State St. in Rockford.
“The Go model aligns perfectly with today’s fast-paced lifestyles,” Naishil Patel, Belvidere Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee, said in a news release. “BWW Go has emerged as a powerful player in the delivery and takeout space, and our team is excited to continue serving and supporting the Belvidere community for years to come.”
The location offers traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides and all 26 of the restaurant chain’s signature sauces and dry rubs.
BWW Go is promoting its arrival in Belvidere by offering the first 50 guests in line free wings for a year.
The 1,500 square-foot restaurant will employ 13 people and operate from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday through Saturday.
