Family-owned A.M. Social Brunch to fill former Pomodoro space in Loves Park

LOVES PARK — Renovations are underway to turn the former site of The Pomodoro into an upscale new option for breakfast and brunch.
A.M. Social Brunch is a family-owned restaurant coming to 6500 E. Riverside Blvd.
It’s owned by five cousins of the Nebiu family: Benny, Matt, Frank, Nick and Kenny. The family also owns HydeOut Bar & Grill, 13502 Julie Drive, and Boone County Family Restaurant, 4481 Illinois Route 73, both in Poplar Grove.
A.M. Social Brunch will feature mimosa flights, Bloody Marys and fresh-squeezed orange juice, Benny Nebiu told the Rock River Current. The family’s focus will be on good presentation and good service.
The hours are expected to be 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. seven days a week.
The Nebiu family’s goal is to open in approximately three months, depending on the length of renovations. They plan to reveal more details about the restaurant and its menu as they get closer to an opening date.
The Pomodoro closed May 24 after more than four years in business. It had previously been Ciao Bella before rebranding as The Pomodoro in February 2021.
