Alpine Kiwanis Club set to hold 54th Brat Days fundraiser

LOVES PARK — Alpine Kiwanis Club will hold its biggest annual fundraiser this week, grilling up hundreds of brats to raise money for local charities and to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors.
The 54th Alpine Kiwanis Brat Days takes place Friday and Saturday at Blain’s Farm & Fleet, 7300 E. Riverside Blvd., and CherryVale Mall, 7200 Harrison Ave., Cherry Valley.

The two-day event has raised more than $2.5 million for its causes during its 54-year run, according to Alpine Kiwanis. It has benefited more than 60 charities and nonprofits, including Rock House Kids, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club, Vets Roll and Special Olympics of Northern Illinois, to name a few.
Brats are available through drive-thru, walk-up or on-site seating. There is also live entertainment playing at both locations throughout the two days. You can see the music lineup HERE.
