Here’s what’s being built along Riverside Boulevard near Costco in Loves Park

LOVES PARK — A Valvoline Instant Oil Change is under construction by Costco and Burger King near the Interstate 90 and Riverside Boulevard interchange.
The 2,028-square-foot facility will feature three oil change bays at 4020 Stadium Drive, according to the city’s community development department. A timeline for opening has not been announced.

Valvoline is a quick oil change and automotive maintenance company with more than 2,000 locations across the United States and Canada.
The company handles more than 28 million services annually, ranging from 15-minute stay-in-your-car oil changes to a variety maintenance services such as wiper replacements and tire rotations.
Valvoline ranked 18th on Forbes’ Best Customer Service list for 2025 among 300 brands included. It was the top-ranked instant oil change company.
There are also Valvoline locations at 6772 E. State St. in Rockford and 7706 N. Second St. in Machesney Park.
