Scotty McCreery to headline 2024 Boone County Fair

ROCKFORD — Country music star Scotty McCreery will headline next summer’s Boone County Fair.
The Boone County Fair Association made the announcement Wednesday morning with 95.3 The Bull.

McCreery will take the grandstand stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, for a show with special guest Greylan James.
McCreery has sold more than 4 million records since 2011 and achieved five No. 1 hits, including “Damn Strait,” “You Time,” “In Between,” “This is It” and “Five More Minutes.” His new single “Cab in a Solo” is for a forthcoming album due out in 2024.
You can reserve your seats for the concert online at boonecountyfair.com starting at 12:01 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4. Tickets go on sale at the fairgrounds ticket office starting July 6.

Next year’s Boone County Fair is slated to take place Tuesday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 11. The most recent fair drew a record attendance of 226,268 during its six-day run, according to the fair association.
Ticket prices range from $25 to $45. Tickets to the Grandstand shows do not include the $10 cash admission to the fair. Season tickets will be $25.
