Crumbl sets grand opening date for first Rockford location

ROCKFORD — Crumbl has set an opening date for its first cookie shop in the city.
The nation’s fastest-growing cookie chain will open Friday, Nov. 10 at 6150 E. State St., suite 120, between Skechers and Pearle Vision.
Crumbl was founded in 2017 and is the fourth-fastest growing food chain in the United States, according to Datassential, a food and beverage analytics company. It’s the fastest growing cookie company.
The company was founded by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley in Logan, Utah, and now has more than 800 locations in the United States.

The chain is known for its rotating menu of cookies made from more than 200 flavors that can be purchased in store, delivered or shipped around the country in its familiar pink box. You can watch the staff mix, bake and prepare the cookies in person at the Rockford shop.
Crumbl is the second national cookie franchise to open in Rockford this fall.
Dirty Dough marked its grand opening Sept. 15 at 5505 E. State St., which is inside Flow Supreme Air Sports.
