Picture This: Construction of the future Hard Rock Casino Rockford

ROCKFORD — The future Hard Rock Casino near East State Street and Interstate 90 has started to take shape.

Ringland-Johnson Construction, which is managing the project, broke ground in September, and structural steel began to go vertical about two weeks ago.

On Tuesday, construction teams allowed members of the media on site to take a look at the progress.
