ROCKFORD — Rockford Casino brought in more than $5 million in gross revenue last month for the second time in its roughly 13-month history.
The casino at 610 N. Bell School Road generated $5,050,302 in November, according to new Illinois Gaming Board data. That’s the second-highest total in gross receipts trailing only $5,146,842 in April.

That means the casino has now generated nearly $49.8 million in gross revenue this year, and it’s created more than $2.9 million in gaming tax revenue for local municipalities through the first 11 months of the year.
There were 43,479 admissions in November, bringing the yearly total to more than 420,500, according to the Gaming Board.
Rockford Casino: A Hard Rock Opening Act opened its doors on Nov. 10, 2021, and will continue operating inside the former Giovanni’s Restaurant and Convention Center until the full casino resort opens.
Hard Rock broke ground on the full resort near the intersection of East State Street and Interstate 90 on Sept. 28. It plans an aggressive timeline to open in late 2023, but an extension is possible.
