JANESVILLE — Bessie’s Diner is hosting its annual Fly-In or Drive-In Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the Caritas Community Resource Center.
The fourth annual fundraiser will be held at Bessie’s Diner, located at 1716 West Airport Road, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18.
The event will include a buffet of pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice. Participants will also have the opportunity to see new and vintage planes up close.
Tickets for a discovery flight with a certified flight instructor are available for purchase as well. Flights can be purchased the day of the event on a first come, first serve basis.
“We’re taking the pancake breakfast to the next level,” Melita Jensen, general manager at Bessie’s Diner, said in a news release. “We can’t wait to welcome families out to enjoy their breakfast with spectacular views right up next to some super cool planes.”
