You have to try: The Bubble Hive Latte
What’s in it: Honey, cinnamon, sea salt, Bubble Hive CBD, oat milk and espresso.
Why you should try it: In honor of April 20, the highly recognized marijuana holiday known as 4/20, we’re highlighting a latte made in partnership between Wired Cafe and its downtown neighbor, The Bubble Hive. The drink contains cannabidiol, a substance found in marijuana that doesn’t contain the high-inducing tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC as it’s more commonly known.
CBD users tout its anti-inflammatory properties and say it can help with anxiety and sleep issues. Combined with oat milk, cinnamon and honey for sweetness, the drink is intended to be a tasty way to benefit from CBD.
“It’s like a healthy, relaxing coffee drink,” said Chris Hare, who co-owns The Bubble Hive with Todd Cedarleaf. “For people who are already doing CBD, they’re just adding that to their regimen.”
