ROCKFORD — TLC Assisted Living Community has been awarded the 2022 Best of Senior Living Award by A Place for Mom, a senior living advocacy group.

The award recognizes exemplary assisted living care and support for seniors.

This is the second consecutive year TLC has been named one of the nation’s top 3% of senior care providers based on reviews from residents and their families.

TLC, which opened in March 2020 at 508 Roosevelt Road, offers independent and assisted living apartments on a 6-acre campus near the Machesney Park Town Center.

Residents have access to 24/7 care and support along with restaurant-style dining, a fitness center, community gathering spaces, transportation services and more.

The annual Best of Senior Living award is presented to senior care providers who receive at least 10 resident or family reviews with an average rating of 4.5 stars or more between Nov. 1, 2020, and Dec. 31, 2021.
