What’s in it: White cheese, lightly breaded, fried perfectly and made from Elllsworth, Wisconsin.
Previously featured: Rock River Bar & Grill; the Rockford casino’s upscale restaurant
Why you should try it: You thought you couldn’t keep your hand out of the bag while eating their fries? Wait until you try their curds. I am very particular when it comes to cheese curds. I think they should all have less breading and lots of cheese. This is exactly what Beefaroo did. These cheesy balls of goodness are so delicious I almost went back for seconds. Good thing I also got a baked potato.
Pro Tip: Dipping sauce! I like to dip mine in ranch but apparently the local fast-food chain now has marinara along with a bunch of other sauces like barbecue, buffalo, sweet and sour, and honey mustard.
