Lydia’s Café Closes for the Remainder of 2020

Lydia’s Café, located at 1710 Rural St. in Rockford, has closed for the remainder of 2020. The pandemic has hurt many local restaurants with the closure of indoor dining.

Lydia’s Café has been open since 1999 but usually sees a dip in sales around the holidays. The plan is to reopen the restaurant at the start of the new year with hopes that 2021 brings better luck. The restaurant industry has been hit hard by the pandemic so hopefully the new year provides better fortune to those hurting.
